Luke 1.57 says, "Now Elizabeth's full time came for her to be delivered, and she brought forth a son" (Luk 1.57). Did people reproach her for being an older woman who got pregnant and then had a child? Read the next verse, "When her neighbors and relatives heard how the Lord had shown great mercy to her, they rejoiced with her" (v. 58). Also, people in the Bible did not ridicule someone for having many children.
