Our Goodness and the Lord 


What is our goodness, if we are apart from the Lord? David said to the Lord, 

2	O my soul, you have said to the LORD, 
	"You are my Lord, 
	My goodness is nothing apart from You." 
	(Psa. 16:2). 

This is precisely why we all must be in the Lord, that is, in Christ. Some people see no need to be Christians because they see themselves as good people. They probably are good people, but if they are apart from the Lord, their goodness is nothing. This is why there is no greater quest for a man or a woman than to seek to be with the Lord.
