I am glad to hear that the the 39 articles can be dismissed set aside  when
it gets in the way of a personal point of view or interpretation of
scripture.  They do not always fit do they?  Article 26 is being dismissed
in this case because of personal opinion and emotional stand on this issue
when in fact the article was written just for this type of situation to
comfort the people who have to put up with corrupt clergy from time to time.
God takes care of His people inspite of corrupt clergy.
