All of the Evangelicals I have encountered are
hand wavers. I assume they picked up the idea
from their fundamentalist neighbors.

Along with checking to see if the roof is leaking,
comes an ecstatic expression on the face with eyes
closed and hips flexing in an erotic manner.

Perhaps I have only seen a small element of a
fringe group of evangelicals, but this has been
the experience to date.

The Anglo-Catholics have fears of insect infestation
and are constantly fumagating their churches. They
use incense the same way the archbishop of Paris
uses it. but he has Notre Dame Cathedral and they have
a bite size chapel.

Reformed Catholics have not yet developed a reputation
that I have heard, and a Broad Churchman has always been
the harmless crazy between the hazy and the lazy.

It is fantastic that we can be in one jurisdiction and accept
one another. I may not want to be with either extreme on a
weekly basis, but I can accept all who accept me. (I do not
find profound theological doctrinal differences on the faith
once delivered to the saints.)

I am confortable with that.

Fr Will+

Thank you. If we must use those adjectives to
describe Christians, I like them better when used
together rather than separately. What is wrong with
 being an evangelical catholic?

 UNIQUE SOLUTION OFFERED:

DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE
                     THEM DO UNTO YOU.

That way, we Reformed Catholic Broad Churchmen
 will not get splattered!

Both the REC and the APA have done unbelievably
well on this. How? By living and acting like
Christians are supposed to live and act.

I was frightened about this a couple of years ago.
Why? Like many of us, I was paranoid because
of past experience in (P)ECUSA. There is no
evidence of this problem in either jurisdiction,
AS THERE IS IN OTHER JURISDICTIONS.
Let's keep it that way, and let's keep on loving
 each other.

REMEMBER: God loves you and I love you.
That puts me in good company.
