Fratres+ Please don't think I'm picking on GWB, I think he did absolutely the right thing for his career and the Republican Party by reproving Trent Lott for his statement. THIS TIME, I'm being honest with you. But, in a way, doesn't it remind you of Hamlet in the Graveyard, holding a skull in his hand and saying, "Alas, poor Yorick. I knew him, Horatio." Nearly everyone of the Republicans, Black or White, who commented on Trent Lott, all said "Alas, he was really a decent man". But none would support him. Well, after suffering a week of "slings and arrows of outrageous fate" in the real world, I needed this bit of therapy by venting in regard to our politics, the Greatest Show on Earth. All better now.
