Please don't think I'm picking on GWB, I think he did absolutely the right 
thing for his career and the Republican Party by reproving Trent Lott for 
his statement.  THIS TIME, I'm being honest with you.

But, in a way, doesn't it remind you of Hamlet in the Graveyard, holding a 
skull in his hand and saying, "Alas, poor Yorick.  I knew him, Horatio."

Nearly everyone of the Republicans, Black or White, who commented on Trent 
Lott, all said "Alas, he was really a decent man".  But none would support 
him.

Well, after suffering a week of "slings and arrows of outrageous fate"
in the real world, I needed this bit of therapy by venting in regard to our 
politics, the Greatest Show on Earth. All better now.
