Fr Charles, Well said!! I agree with your broad perspective especially the social justice issues!! Better we should go a little too far on occassion then be too restricted. This should also be a forum of inner "Brainstorming" amongst ther Brethern rather then a "Bully" pulpit to reach those in the pews. Therfore I believe we can give each other somewhat more license On another note but within the social justice agenda you should know that I'm starting a Legal Assistance program for the wage earner and small business based on the ability to pay. Now we have free legal aid for the very poor and nothing for those above the guidelines before the $200 /hour lawyers. The Advocacy Center for Justice will fill that nitch and be a full sevice legal assistance without federal government limits. So often I've seen a limited income person or business win a law suit only toe their assets to the lawyers. This will be operated under the aegis of 501 C 3 Interfaith Ministries, so contributiond are deductible. Are any of you aware of any foundations, sources, or persons where grants might be available?? Also looking for volunteers. Just bought a building to establish it in and want to paint the front door of the Center red. Do any of you have the poem about the red door meaning welcome?? May God be with you and Bless our ministries in this coming year and in the future. God lead us to know and do thy will!!
