Brothers+ Its not Friday but the little Irish demon is giggling in my ear again. I sent the Onion article about the NASA launch of $700 Million in 50's and 100 dollar bills as a gentle gibe to a teacher who comes from a very conservative family with a long Texas lineage. He apparently employed his speed reading skills (but not his sense of humor) as he scanned the article, for he asked, "Why did they use money?" Everything is bigger in Texas. Art does imitate life there. To this lad, for a moment, it seemed possible. He groaned when I said, "Its a joke!" In August, I'll recycle the article with the heading, "Faith Based Initiative Blows up on Launch Pad" and see if he bites again. All I need is a picture of Robertson or Falwell anointing the space craft.
