Of course your
now kneeling parishioner (and good for you) 'met Someone' years ago at
their Holy Baptism in which (whether they knew it or not then 'were
made soldiers of Christ, children of God & inheritors of the Kingdom of
Heaven').
It is in the
Sacraments that we meet the Risen Glorified Jesus Christ most fully ,for
as Fr Ron. Rollheiser OMI put it so well years ago 'we feel His physical
embrace' thru the 'touvch and taste and smell' of the sacramental
transmitters (bread, wine, water, oil, incense etc).(Here O My God I
SeeThee Face To Face).
This is the great secret that the Church Catholic alone can and will
provide. Our people deserve nothing less.
Your education classes are a wonderful way to
extend that grace filled knowledge to those without it. Blessings. GDVW+
