Charles and Franklin,
What you say sounds all well and good for now, but it is the future that
worries me. I have already experienced personal confrontation from homosexuals
for promoting hate speech (which I have not done) for simply being a
traditional Anglican. I believe we are going to see a time in the not so distant
future when we are not only going to be further marginalized but we will be
persecuted. I believe the time is coming when the state will attempt to enter
into the churches business when it comes to marriage under some sort of
twisted civil rights law. So why not try to stop it now. I personally am for a
marriage amendment, so as to stop this movement at the get go. Stop to think,
if the world would have stepped into to stop Hitler when he took
Czechoslovakia, and Poland, we might not have had to enter World War II. In Florida at
least when you find mounds of fire ants in the front yard, you work to stop
them before they decide to enter the house and then you have a real problem.
So when we consider this question, let's think about future ramifcations.
