intent. But are you implying that none of the covenant partners could have
provided the alternative oversight that is needed with CAPA and other
jurisdictions that may request the same?
This is really going to get interesting since (I assume) Martin Minns will
have to leave Truro to be the CAPA bishop, thus severing his relationship
with ECUSA (if he hasn't already). What a mess.

I think you have to be careful to draw any conclusions about that
consecration. The situation is VERY fluid right now, and the future is very
uncertain. As to the supposed "slap in the face to the REC/APA" I don't see
this as so much a snub as it is laying the groundwork for an alternative
oversight that is needed within CAPA and other jurisdictions that may
request the same.
