Is it wrong to say that they were born "that way"? We are all born "that way" - at least according to the traditional interpretation of Psalm 51 - everyone of us is predisposed to sin because we were all born "that way"...we just have different ways of expressing the same universal problem....sin - whether that sin be homosexuality, drunkenness, unrighteous anger, gossip, slander, lawlessness, arrogance, pride, hatred, adultery, theft, murder etc. Sure, being born "that way" is no excuse for staying "that way" - but it might make us, who are fellow sinners, a little less caustic when dealing with "them"...don't you think? Isn't that the message of the Scriptures - all have sinned - all fall short of the glory of God - the ground at the cross is level - not one of us can cast stones without casting them at ourselves first.

> It may be true that "one cannot cure a homosexual", but One (God) can--and has On this topic you sound like an Episcopalian. Like them, you are ignoring Scripture: "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such WERE some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.." 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 ESV.

> Many today have come out of homosexuality. Their complete change of lifestyle and orientation is evidence of the cure. Since there is no genetic basis for homosexuality, it is not like diabetes, something only to be controlled. To say emphatically that a homosexual cannot be cured is to deny the power of the Holy Spirit.
