Ken, No, we don't accept ordinations or consecrations done by female bishops nor will we if these talks are successful, hence the wording of communion "within the parameters of the doctrine and discipline" of each Church. Though, as Fr. Paul has pointed out, how many of us still reverence the reserved sacrament in an Episcopal Church without enquiring after the consecrator? Neither will this lead to our going back to ECUSA. Or, if such an arrangement is offensive, then we need to stop doing anything with members of churches within the Anglican Communion who by that membership have some sort of communion with female clergy and their supporters. As I see it, there are only two logical options. Either we take the PCK/ACC approach and unchurch the lot (including FiF and the orthodox provinces) or we take the official AEC approach which was that we are a lifeboat for those who can no longer remain in ECUSA without at the same time unchurching ECUSA. The AEC came pretty close to reaching a deal whereby the AEC Primus would step down and the ECUSA Presiding Bishop take his place (with the AEC remaining a separate entity). What we are doing doesn't come anywhere close to that. As for Arius...he did remain in the same church as the Arians! Mark+
