you...wouldn't like to be working that switchboard...

I worked one of those old ones at an hotel/boarding house in Cape Town 
once...oh my, how I got the cords wrapped up and consequently often made 
wrong connections...I made Fawlty Towers look like a walk in the park...one 
really got to know the residents well, as well as the broad range of their 
extra-curricular vocabulary.

Forgive me, if I have offended...

BTW, has anyone noticed the heading?  "The Orthodox View of the 'Immaculate 
Conception' (died 1996)"...hmm...
