" I'm saying that the rabbis considered it wrong to be married and remain a virgin. That would have been a scandal and a violation of Torah."

All you Bultman-loving Protestants are always deconstructing the Scriptures and playing the Greek-card. If you don't have an answer - play the Greek-card. And Rabbis are absolutely Greek-a-phobic anyway and they blame everything on them! Besides it would be wrong if God told Joseph to leave her alone or maybe he was too old. Oh yeah, and it wouldn't be a scandal to to ignore the other kids? Yeah, right. And beside that wasn't some of his "sisters" at the cross with his Mother? And besides that if there were other siblings around they would have gone after Mary anyway to see to it that she was taken care of. Where's there any evidence of that in the Scriptures? What? You thing good Jewish sons would just passively through up there hands and whine about it and do nothing? You little Bultman you!
