Anyone up for a discussion of the concepts of
Covenant?

The results of covenants have been rather dismal on
the international scene of late.  Not much point in
discussing the validity or force of them since
governments regularly ignore them.

Wouldn't it be great, at least as a t.v. event if Our
President, the Kings, Petty Chieftans, Premiers, and
Emirs and other potentate-wannabe's of the world
assembled before the wailing wall and had a covenant
making event ala Genesis 15 and Genesis 17?

Perhaps the covenant making rites in the ecumenical
efforts of Christians in our time need a little of the
drama of the good old Abrahamic days.  We might take
the matter a little more seriously.
