I don't know why you didn't get the letter, I received it via email
first of last week. Virtue probably got it through someone on the list.
There's been a very interesting discussion of Bp. Grundorf's decision
on StandFirm. The overwhelming response, from CCP laity and clergy, has
been one of appreciation. Most of them view his letter as one of
integrity and wisdom. Also it is worth looking at the discussion going
on that same blog concerning Holy Baptism. It is very interesting, to
say the least, that CCP clergy are debating whether or not babies
should be baptized! Apparently within the CCP there are big issues
like, "What is baptism?", that have yet to be settled. The other biggie
will be ++Jensen Lay Presdidency of the Eucharist. Who knows how that
will turn out? Virtue has far less traffic than StandFirm and tends to
be very nasty. I don't know if the Bishop's letter has been put up on
our website but maybe you can get it there.

For several days I have been seeing discussion on
Virtue on Line about Bishop Grundorf's letter to his clergy. I have
not
received a copy from the diocese nor have I seen mention of it on
FaithandLife. What is going on? The question of our (APA's)
participation in CCP previously has caused considerable discussion.
Did this letter ever go out?
If not, how did David Virtue+ get a
copy?
What is the significance of the silence on
FaithandLife?
