> Have " I ever been...". What? Has Joe McCarthy come back from his poor
besotted grave?
I agree that the East has
much to tell us about the mechanics of Holy Matrimony. My position is
the Western position first and if I cannot use that to help people then
I will 'cross the Bosphorus'.
                                                    I am glad that you
proclaimed your heterosexuality but I really do not care except it made
you perhaps 'feel better about yourself? It neither breaks my leg nor
robs my pocket as Jefferson said about disestablishment. The private
lives, esp of priests, as a former Bishop of London once said
is no ones business.
                                           As for making declarations of
heretical views I will continue to do that whenever and wherever it is
appropriate and I will take no less than St Thomas Aquinas for my source.

By the way have YOU read Fr Daniel J Helmniak's
book "What The Bible Really Says About Homosexuality?" I commend that and
also the now deceased former Prof of Ethics at Fuller (and a 5 point
Calvinist who graduated from the Free University in Amsterdam) Dr Louis
Smedes ThD (a teaching elder of the Christian Reformed Church)-"There Is a
Wideness in God's Mercy". The fomer Presbyterians and Reformed in our
ranks might feelmore comfortable with the latter. Blessings. GDVW+
