But what perhaps is open for debate, though, is the use of myth to attempt to relate in concrete terms a reality that is less than concrete (the reality of the mystical and supernatural; the concepts of truth and right/wrong; the fact that whether we realize it or not, we interact on a plane that extends far beyond what we can see/touch/hear/feel/taste, and need to somehow be able to relate that to others in a way they can understand; etc.). As CS Lewis puts it, "myth" is the only vehicle to do this. MLW+
