What he believes is not the only thing we must look at but also how he acts.
For instance, the early RE bishops didn't believe in the necessity of the
episcopate and yet they continued it, which is what the Church (read
universal here) intended. Does Robinson intend to do what the Church has
always taught? Who knows...but once he is made a bishop, then we'll find out
by his actions. Perhaps then we'll find out if he is a heretic or whatever.
Rowan Cantaur believes in ordaining active homosexuals but as Cantaur
publicly stated he would not do so because Lambeth's "official" position
against the same.
