> Brethren: While, as an Anglo Catholic (since labels are being used) I am willing to take the statement of Canon John of Reading on his living arrangement at face value (The Bishop of London, Dr Graham Leonard said the same thing in a similar issue some years ago) I am more concerned with his theological position. Dean Scott is quite correct that some militants in the so called 'gay lobby' would be offended by some of the post p. 300 BCP (28) materials. Have any of you seen a copy of the late Gareth Moore OP's book-"A Question of Truth" Continuum Books 2003. He seems to be saying that homosexual activity(asopposed to status) is some sort of 'condition' wrought by God to those whoare not monotheists (This is the notorious Romans 1:18-24 passim pericope) e.g. it is a punishment of sorts for heresy. Blessings. GDVW+ Take a look at pages 300 and following in our Book of Common Prayer.
