Daniel+, Tells you where things have come when responses to my post on this list have generally been much more moderate than on another list to which I belong that is 90% conservative episcopalians. I think the difference is partly due to our not looking to ++Canterbury for a savior while they are. If ++William's turns out to be an intolerant modernist then how does it really affect us? The same can't be said for FIFI and AAC types. No matter who is selected, the Church of England will still have York and London (#2 & #3 positions in the C or E) held by traditionalists. In many ways, Canterbury these days has less affect on the C of E as he does (by setting the tone) on the Anglican Communion. Anyway, all this has done much to remind me how very, very tired I am of attacks. We traditiionalists need to learn to get beyond attacks and gossip. It doesn't do us much good. Mark+ PS Who read and was profoundly moved by ++William's Christmas sermon in the collection I purchased (preached on the 2nd Shepherd's Play!!).
