DKD: Some of my favorite adverts on British television were those for
Murphy's Stout (Guinness's main competition in the UK). They feature a young
twenty-something Irish fellow with a carefree attitude about various, but
nonetheless trivial misfortunes that happen to him, wherein he says with the
same carefree grin at the end of each commercial... "But like me Murphy's,
I'm not bitter."

I have to confess, that advert strikes a chord with me on many levels.
