My dear APA Brethren,

This article by Zahl sent by Drew must seem like your worst nightmare with 
respect to the merger talks with the REC.  I'm not sure why Drew sent it, and 
I'll gladly give him the benefit of the doubt, but let me assure you that the 
article does not represent the stance of the REC.  No doubt there are RE's who 
would be sympathetic with the article, but there are many RE's -- MANY -- who 
would be embarassed by it.
