Dan,

I regret that you felt the need to issue a disclaimer but am more than a
little perplexed as to why that was the case (I do appreciate the benefit of
the doubt, though). The article in question was not written by me or any
other RE, but by a highly-regarded ECUSA presbyter currently serving as Dean
of the Cathedral Church of the Advent in Birmingham, Alabama (who was here
in the area recently, regrettably I wasn't able to hear him as I was moving
at the time).

I make no bones about being a Paul Zahl fan (although I think he is wrong on
women's ordination and a bit too dismissive of the REC and other
"separated" Anglican groups. I forwarded the article because I found it
thought-provoking and agreed with much, but certainly not all, of what he
wrote. Personally, I resonate with the title as I am myself "Low-Church and
Proud."

Soli Deo Gloria!

Drew

"If there were any word of God beside the Scripture, we could never be
certain of God's Word; and if we be uncertain of God's Word, the devil might
bring in among us a new word, a new doctrine, a new faith, a new church, a
new god, yea himself to be a god. If the Church and the
Christian faith did not stay itself upon the Word of God certain, as upon a
sure and strong foundation, no man could know whether he had a right faith,
and whether he were in the true Church of Christ, or in the synagogue of
Satan."-- Archbishop Thomas Cranmer, Reformer and Martyr
