You have sharp eyes to catch this. I had seen the original local Cincinnati
news release in July or August when Figueroa resigned as Director of
Communications for the Diocese of Southern Ohio (ECUSA). At that time he
told his bishop that he could not in good conscience continue in that office
but would remain in the Episcopal Church. Obviously he has thought more
about the implications of Vicki Gene Robinson's "consecration" and is
leaving.
Wayne+ and his vibrant congregation will provide a good home for them. I
hope the potential of 3 or 4 dozen will come to fruition. Mark+, you and
Wayne can compare notes and numbers!
