Fr. Duncan+

Since they were good Anglicans, Angels undoubtedly chanted Psalms from the 1928 Prayer Book. Prescient angels, you know.

 Was Jesus born today?
Fr. Scott, question #3 nearly tricked me tonight! Inside my Order of
Service for tomorrow, I included the questions you borrowed for your
homilies. Then, before printing the Order, I glanced at Luke 2:13 in the
Revised English Bible--which I use for lessons at Morning Prayer: "All at
once there was with the angel a great company of the heavenly host, SINGING
praise to God: 'Glory to God in highest heaven, and on earth peace to all
in whom he delights.' " I quickly deleted Question #3 but kept the other
four! (The KJV does have the angels "saying.") X Regards.
KnoxDuncan@...

----- Original Message -
