At St. John's, depending upon the passage, we use the KJV, the New English
Bible, and the Revised English Bible, rather interchangeably, alongside
passages from the 1928 Book of Common Prayer (the Great Bible).  The 23rd
Psalm, for instance, rings hollow in any but the KJV.   For better
understanding, I often recommend that parishioners compare the REB or NEB
