He's an editor of the Ancient Christian Commentary series. MLW+ Mike+, Yeah, my wife wants one of those as well, now that she is working as a staff accounting and doing graduate work in accounting. From what I can tell, the NIV and NRSV are pretty much cornering the market. Frankly speaking, I'd prefer people to use the NRSV (which while it's PC, it is only meaningfully so in a few places) to the NIV (which seems to resort to outright paraphrasing in some places. I wonder if we will see as many translations done in our new era as there were in the "we can get to the true text" modernist era? My own suspicion is that we won't. On a happier note, I can see a lot of postmodernists getting into the old way of reading Scripture according to the 4 senses. Mark+
