No, as there are no Orthodox churches around here -- other than Greek
and no self-respecting Serb would go to the Greek Church!  He's an ELCA
Lutheran, of all things (married to a German Lutheran).  As for the
Slavonic, I'm not sure anyone speaks it in regular conversation.

Ned, my partner, is an interesting fellow.  He definitely has a gift for
languages.  Years ago, he told a Bulgarian ballerina (and I'm not
kidding about this) in her own language that I said there's no such
thing as a Bulgarian ballerina.  Weight-lifters, yes; but no ballerinas.
Killed my chances with her!  Nice guy!!
