Brainless.
[From Latin ex- (out of) + cerebrum (brain).]

Brothers:
The wacky medics at Partners-In-Rhyme@... grind out limericks everyday.

The word for the day is excerebrose, which has been used to describe certain clergy.

“On a Clear Day. . ..” we might see forever. But today, it is overcast in the Corn Belt, rather like a “Foggy Day in London Town.”

The brainless, mindless, EXCEREBROSE,
Nonworking head of class otiose*
Wouldn't be such a jerk
If only lack of work
Had made him some...no, much less verbose.
         *unemployed, ineffective, nogoodnik

Sometimes with "Word-of-the Day"
a good rhyme just won't come my way!
Brain gets excerebrose;
limericks just won't come close
and results are that "rhyme doesn't pay!"
