Hey Mark+

I realise you're snowed under, so I was not surprised.

My telephone # is (864) 801-4171.

I have actually decided to stay due to the continuing stream of new visitors
every Sunday. I'm hoping Dr. Moock will be able to take a Sunday for me in
July.

We have had 27 Episcopalians join us since January...not as many as you, but
enough to create a space problem. Some of my previous parishioners (of the
fundamentalist and Prebyterian type) have struggled with this, actually
giving offence to our new members at times. And now this negative
"publicity"...sigh...

I heard that the priest at Christ Church was threatened by his Bishop should
he pursue a different course from the ECUSA...he has since backed down from
his former stance and is riding the back of the beast, status quo. Bp. Howe
in Florida has forced a congregation which has basically left ECUSA to lease
their own property with an option to buy it back after a year from the
Diocese. These things boggle the mind, but to me they are plainly wicked.
So, you want to leave, huh? Strip first...

Sounds like a line from "A Shot in the Dark", hey? "No-one gets in without
taking off their clothes first!" "What? All of them?" "All of them, right
down to your mustache!"

Painful...

J.+
