The only humor I can see in this political election is that it may be
preparing me for heaven. For the mere thought that one particular candidate
might actually win scares the hell out of me.

show (I'm referring to the current crazy political season), a good laugh
might reduce blood pressures.

the convention than would fit on the stage. That passing strange message
must have Al Sharpton confused. He must have thought, am I at the right
convention?

anti-war Democrats made a bid for Senator McCain., then settled for Opie.
President Bush, at least at present, is putting forth the image of being
stable and sure by dancing with the partner who accompanied him to the
ball. Some of his supporters are wondering about the political wisdom of
that decision. I think perhaps Bush is right; maybe Darth Vader will scare
the Islamic radicals back to their caves. As one Republican observed in
regard to Dick Cheney, he is dark.

heavy to carry in a battle with a war hero and Opie. If Bush did try to
bring a fresh face to the Republican Convention, he might try to Out-Kerry
Kerry. Kerry attempted to woo a Republican, Senator McCain in hopes of
winning pro-military people and moderate Republicans. Bush could retaliate
by reaching for someone who could bring in the women's votes and some
Democrats. He might choose Teresa Kerry or Hilary Clinton. The possible
issue from that political union are too weird to contemplate.

hopes of winning that 5% of middle, muddled, undecided Americans.
