Brothers,

Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow!! On July 21 The Church of the Holy 
Nativity , Lima, Ohio signed for a construction loan to complete the 
renovations of its newly acquired building. While this may seem like a 
singularly insignificant achievement to many, I believe it is truly a 
miracle!! The loan was acquired through a bank at an interest rate below 
that of the current mortgage. (This bank actually turned us down when we 
applied for money to purchase the building!!) Also, every other institution 
we applied to for the funds ( a total of 5 in all) turned us down and 
several of the loan officers told us that given our current cash flow there 
was no lending institution that would front us the money. Their advice in 
almost all cases was for us to do a significant amount of fund raising 
during the next six months and then to reapply. It is just over two years 
since we began to pursue the purchase of this property and building and the 
Lord has been faithfull and blessed us each and evey step of the way. We are 
currently negotiating a contract with the construction company that is to 
complete the work because the bids are a little higher than the total 
available from the loan but that is going well and should be completed by 
early next week. Renovations will probably begin during the second week of 
Augustand should be completed by early to mid-November..

Holy Nativity is listed in the Cycle of Prayer for the month of August so I 
would ask that you continue to pray for us and all that God is doing in our 
small parish and give Him thanks for all that He has done for us so far!! He 
truly is an awesome GOD!!
