Thank you for the kind words, as always. I actually had something more in mind than e-mails and phonecalls, although those do go a long way too. In the Church of England we used to have a week long clergy conference after Synod every year. These weeks were crammed full of seminars and all sorts of teachings to help us be more effective priests in our local parishes. We had discussion groups, all sorts of fun activities during which we really got to know each other (especially those who did not like to lose!) and exchanged ideas and so on without feeling threatened because one parish was growing and the other not. What's more, I feel I know more of the APA guys than the REC and most certainly have more in common with y'all...this came out so obviously during Ashley's Diaconal examination...his (my - as I was his tutor) views on the sacraments, reservation and so on were directly challenged, even by a higher cleric who should have known better! I love Bishop West, make no mistake...but the support and comeraderie is just not there...sigh... Fr. J. The Rev. Fr. Johann W.
