The secular news informed us there have been no deaths in Florida due to hurricane Frances. Thanks be to God for prayers answered.

Is everyone well?

Hello everyone,
With debris still around us from Hurricane Charley, we are faces with preparing for Hurricane Frances' arrival. We will be closing the office today, Friday, at noon. We will be disconnecting computer and phone lines to allow another power surge beyond our surge protector abilities. We will re-open the office (and reconnect everything) on Tues, Sept 7th after the Labor Day holiday. (It will be a true labor day and not a holiday unfortunately).

As far as Synod is concerned, it will go on as scheduled unless we are notified differently from Fr. Erich was he can return to Delray Beach area and asses the damage.

Thanks for all your prayers. Please keep them coming. Flooding is now the main concern in Central Florida since the storm is so slow moving, but those on the Eastern coast will get the full impact of winds and flooding.

One bright note, we now have cable email (pray the storm doesn't wipe it out). Our new email address is stalbansoviedo@.... Please update your records as we will be terminating our email through bellsouth during the next billing cycle. Please try to keep emails to a minimum this next week since Synod will be upon us and with 2 hurricane delays we have much to finish to be prepared.

Thanks again and God bless,

Lisa Ulrich
Bishop Grundor's Administrator
