> Brothers: > They are already doing this in several places; including the Dearborn MI area. The 1st Amendment like every other piece of legislation has its good points and its bad points. for me something like current France (where there are chaplains (mostly RC) who teach catechism or Spain where religion is to date a mandatory subject and the teachers are paid by the State or for that matter the UK (England anyway)where the State pays Religious Education teachers and mandatory 'chapel' is the law of the land (for everyone not otherwise exempted by a positive act e.g. they have to ask). The situation here is very unusual. In the same breath (if I may), I do not oppose what the French Ministry of Education is doing now vis a vis 'religious' dress (The Quran says little about this actually). (When the rights of the majority are guaranteed then the privileges of minorities are safe). Thank God, the Election is almost over. We all need a respite from the strident rhetoric and outright hate committed by some segments of society. Blessings.
