I have found two excellent sources for printer cartridges.

I purchased 4 black ink cartridges for my Epson printer for $20.00 including shipping. A color cartridge cost $16.00
Normally, at a local store, black cartridges are about $20.00 and Color cartridges about $50.00.
I use very little color printing, so I can't give fair comparison on quality, though it appears 0k to me.
The black ink cartridges last just as long as those bought locally and the print quality is indistinguishable. I suspect some factory in China makes all of them and just distributes them under different labels.
My Epson printer complains when I put in the foreign cartridge, but I have used them successfully for over 5 years. The Lexmark printer doesn't seem to notice the difference.
