I've got really mixed feelings about the old Rotweiler of God.  On the one 
hand, it's good to have a traditionalist succeed JP2, especially someone 
whose writing regarding the liturgy would be well-received in our circles. 
On the other hand, I was really hoping for a 3rd World Pope.  Also, 
Ratzinger, despite his good wishes for Plano, has shown himself to be very 
critical of Anglicanism whatever its guise.  Should be interesting to see 
what ARCIC does under Benedict XVI.
