Since Fr. Humphrey told the whole world that I lost my black pants at Synod I'm a bit reticent to "flesh this out in public."  

I suggest you form a reliable committee of his peers, visit a suitable watering hole out of the sun, ply him with some truth serum and then bring back a scholarly report of the proceedings and findings.

Yup, that's it.  He was talking about being a devote' of Padre Pio, and
himself having some sort of mystical experience while at synod, bumping his chin when he came back down to the ground (some sort of levitation, but personally I think he brought his own stash of incense -- but that's just me).
