I humbly submit that the extent of one's catholicity is directly
proportional to the amount of lace found on his surplice.

Ohhhhh, now we're really in for it. This is going to take much longer than
I thought. We'll have to form a committee to select the committee to "flesh
out" Fr. Spencer's experience.

I'm at a complete loss to know how to assess whether applicants to the
investigative committee are Catholic. How do we determine their standing
and the relative weight of their opinions? What is the measurement to
qualify? Do we use inches, centimeters or pounds?

It strikes me that the question would be like trying to determine whether
one Sumo wrestler is worth 2 Wilt The Stilt Chamberlains or vice versa.

Who out there has experience with such Solomon like questions? Fr Humphry?
I recall you were involved in conflict resolution as an adjunct to your
legal practice. Can you help us out here?
