> Charles: Glad your back 'at it'. We indeed are 'in the world' but not 'of it' and that is the vademecum in these days. As I have said before we need to work as tho it counted all on us and pray as tho it counted all on God not forgetting our brethren in the Levant (Iraq, Syria, the Holy Land, The Lebanon & by extension Egypt as well). We will have to take whatever is handed out by the grasping desperate politicans but that does not mean it is God's will or His 'fault' (too often we are ready, too ready, to blame everyone including God and the devil when the only miscreant 'is us' (as Pogo said). Let me remind everyone that January iscoming and that is the time that we Anglicans traditionally take an offering for Theological Education. It has been suggested that 1% of the total Budget should go towards that end. Also we should take a census for Christmas Eve/Christmas Day this year just to keep our 'stats' current. And let us remember to work and pray for the Church we love.
