The first installment of the three year B lectionary is almost ready for
you to review.  Year B begins this Advent.  I say almost ready because
the lessons and the Psalter still need to be reviewed to make sure the
cut-offs (at least as far as the Psalter is concerned) are right.  So
far, here's what I have:
 
Year B: First Sunday in Advent through Trinity Sunday - KJV
Year B: First Sunday in Advent through Trinity Sunday - ESV
 
I am still waiting on Crossway to give us the OK to release it in ESV,
but I don't expect any problems.
 
I hope to have the balance of Year B finished by Advent (the Propers,
the first of which is Proper 7, First Sunday after Trinity (Second after
Pentecost if you follow the newer calendar) for 2003.  Right now, I'm
going to put these only on a set of 3.5 inch floppies.  When all three
years are completed, I'll burn them onto CDs.
 
If anyone would like to have the first half (Advent through Trinity),
please send me your mailing address and I'll forward the floppies to
you.  Also, let me know which translation you want, or both.
 
When you get the diskettes, you'll notice that they are NOT
write-protected.  This allows you to format them for your individual
printers, cut and paste, delete what you don't want, etc.  BUT, it also
allows you to delete what you might not want deleted, so be careful.  In
any event, I have everything backed up on a Zip Disk should you
irretrievably mangle your insert for the day (you listenin', Charles+?).
 
And speaking of inserts, these are formatted so you can run them back
through your printer upside down and make two inserts out of one piece
of paper (8.5 x 11), front and back.  These half-sheets fit nicely into
a folded bulletin.
 
Anyway, let me know if you want copies and I'll mail them when they're
ready.
