Thanks for your input.  I have been thinking about a sermon on measuring redemption (or some such abridgement of the subject).  I plan to use your sermon as the basis, perhaps almost word for word.  I will also very probably give you credit!  Normally when I do research, I do not bother with credits. 

(i.e. "Research" is when I steal from more than one person and then use the collective theft.  In this case I will not be canabalizing anyone else's thoughts.)

Again, and seriously, thanks.  Your sermon was well thought out.
