An agendaq is clear-no deacons and thus no priests of the female persuasion. The latter is impossible while the latter is another thing entirely as the former is 'ex Cristo' while the latter is 'ex Ecclesia'. We may well decide NOT to make deacons for other reasons but we are on thin ice when we say that the issue is unchangeable. As recently as 1010 the Greek Orthodox Church was making women deacons in the diocese of Pentapolis. The bishop that did thisa (St Nectarios) is counted a saint!
