You might be surprised.  It used to not be cool to wear your shorts down
around your ankles either, but just go to the beach or walk around the mall
and look at all the kids showing plenty of PC (that's "Plumber's Crack" for
those of you not in the know) and not much knee.  Who knows: suspenders and
shorts just might be the rage.
