Today as I was coming home, I came to a four way stop that is near my house. I was about to proceed across the intersection when I heard a siren. I looked down the street and noticed an ambulance approaching. So, I waited for an ambulance to pass by in front of me on the cross street. Just about the time he entered the intersection the car on the opposite side of the intersection from me became impatient and started out into the intersection right in front of the ambulance! Well the ambulance swerved violently just missing the impatient idiot who pulled out in front of him. But when the ambulance swerved their back door flew open and a box dropped out on the street. Well I was the only one left in the intersection. Thinking the box might have been important I put my car in Park and ranout into the intersection to retrieve the box. I thought I might be able to get it to the ambulance somehow. It was kind of heavy. I had no idea what was inside. On the way back to my car I opened the box. My mouth must have dropped open in amazement. Inside the box was somebody's big toe packed in ice! Oh my goodness! I thought!!! The guy who this belongs to must be in that ambulance that just went by. Quick as a flash I formulated an action plan. What did I do then you might ask? Well I did what any responsible adult would do. I called a toe truck! ------------------------------------ If you read this far, you have my sympathies on a funny Friday.
