This was not directed at anybody and especially not you! Do not get me
wrong I like a feisty debate as well as anyone. I would have to abide by
it to. I am glad to have the opportunity to get to know you and the others
I have not met.

This list may be better served if we used it to promote friendship, mutual
support and the unity that we are all hoping for rather than discussing
theology and trying to convert each other which underscores our differences
rather than what we have in common.

Just a thought.

Pax,

Bill+

Charles+:

Censoring and filtering information is a great idea and it would help this
list to promote unity. It would also help if you automatically drop from
the list anyone who becomes argumentative or speaks against the merger. Like
the old saying goes, when going to a cocktail party don't discuss religion
or politics. Keep the conversation simple, reasonable and sensible.

DC: Gee, Bill, not discussing religion on a list for clergy who are in
jurisdictions seeking to merge seems very, very silly.

But since the above seemed to be directed at the undersigned, and
since I seem to be nearly the lone voice expressing concern about
serious differences between us that I seriously feel will prevent
merger, I'll bug out of the cocktail party. I'm sure many in the room
will be delighted!

Soli Deo Gloria!

Drew
