Just a thought. Wouldn't be simpler to agree on the statement of Bishop Lancelot Andrews (1555 - 1626) "One Canon, two testaments, three creeds, four general councils, five centuries and the series of the Fathers in that period determine the boundaries of our faith."



The 39 articles are a great guide for all and for some a great rule/creed but there is not complete agreement as to the degree of authority they should have over individuals and the missions and parishes they attend.  It would eliminate all the fighting over whose interpretation is correct.
