Yep, the announcements, sermon and offering follow the collect for grace.  The rubrics are specific as to how the service can be altered.  And since we are all acknowledge  the rubrics as the liturgical authority of the prayer book - I'm sure none of us would violate them with schemes of attempting to make it more user friendly.
