Id much prefer "offline" discussions where the two involved can send out a  
joint statement.
Having a moderator does not cut it, or should I say it would.  In this  I 
mean it would again just be a summary of the moderators opinion.
 
Throughout these negotiations etc, the laity and clergy have not been  heard. 
 This is our forum for such.  No moderator  needed.  Just honest and open 
dialogue.
 
I so commend your efforts here.    Keep up the good  work.  I for one would 
like to hear joint statements(well thought and  written) from both sides.
